This is the best disney movie ever written along with aladdin,beauty and the beast, the lion king. This was and has been my favorite animated disney movie since i was 4.I had the little mermaid read along book,her doll, movies,the fins, posters, blankets halloween costume,and many other things. as you can see the little mermaid has always been close to my heart I loved the little mermaid and always will. I'm 15 and halfway through my freshman year in high school and i still get the urge to watch sometimes along with aladdin.I could go on and on about his movie because it's always been one onf my favorites and always will. I encourage everyone who hasent seen it to watch it im sure youll love it as much as i did and always will. ITS GREAT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!!!

Beautiful animation, ingeniusly done, this is the movie that spawned a series of masterpieces over the years.
One feels a direct connection with the protaganist; it's amazing how Disney could alter the original Hans Christian Anderson into this sparkling film. The music adds to the magic and we all know the tune and at least some of the words to most of the songs. This movie is a favorite for all ages and genders, and although the sequel was not up to par, I hope they make a third so we can follow our beloved Ariel as she has followed us everywhere in our hearts.

The Little Mermaid is one of the best movies ever made, animated or live-action, in my opinion. When the movie first came out, I watched it three times a day, and it's still my very favorite movie. Jodi Benson is bomb, and she has the prettiest singing voice that I've heard! I still watch the movie at least once a month or more, it is a totally awesome viewing experience! And to think that they painted it all by hand! (yes! It was the very last that Disney painted by hand!) I'm babbling now, but I will just close in saying that this is THE best movie!
