I think your site is absoluley wonderful but teh reason I gave it a 9 and not a 10 was because I feel that you could have added more to make your site stand out from others. Great job! You should be thrilled with the excellent ratings people are giving you! I know I would be! :o) Keep it up!

The Little Mermaid is the very first movie that I remember ever seeing in a theater. I was so excited to go! Thus, it has always been the most memorable. That magic is evident in the fact that this movie doesn't just go away. It lives in the hearts of many people every day. Who can forget the beautiful sound of Ariel dreaming of being "Part of Your World" or the funny frenzy of Sebastian frantically fleeing the crazed cook? Some of Disney's most memorable moments are from this movie. The Little Mermaid contained within it more than the average Disney movie. Eric didn't just find his true love and marry her, but he found her in a disguise that made him think it wasn't her. He thought that she was just a mute girl when he found her, and was turned off. After spending time with her, though, Eric fell into love with Ariel NOT Ariel's looks and voice. There is so much more to this movie. It showed how what's on the inside is so much more important than the outside!

The Little Mermaid is arguably one of the best films Disney has ever brought.
And, of course it was one of the most satisfying box-office results. It WAS the most successful animated film up to the time of the release of the beautiful Beauty and the Beast which is as good as The Little Mermaid. And until The Lion King every movie to come out from Disney became the highest-grossing, that's why it is Disney's golden age. But if you'd ask me, I love Pocahontas just as much as Aladdin (which is graded in the 5th place in my list). It's absoloutly flawless. But The Lion King is probably a-one-time success of $767 m. Not every animated film can go to these hights and The Lion King was probably a once in a life time. Though Tarzan looks quite promising to be as successful as Aladdin and The Lion King, I wonder how it didn't already surpass Aladdin (sorry folks, it has a much better animation and characters) or achieved the gross of The Lion King, but it has already earned $430 m(!). You know what, i'll grade my favorite films list:
(except of the first three, the rest are listed in the category of the "new wave" films)
1. The Little Mermaid
2. Beauty and the Beast
3. Tarzan
4. The Lion King
5. Aladdin
6. Pocahontas (sorry, pocah fans...)
7. Mulan
8. The Hunchback of Notre-Dame
9. Hercules

The Little Mermaid has one of the best plots for a Disney animated film. It has wonderful songs and some dash of humor involved. I especially liked the part when Sebastian managed to escape Louis, the cook. Ariel is so sweet to sacrifice everything to be with Eric, he should be grateful for being rescued from drowning. The movie shows how true love always prevails against evil. A Masterpiece.

The Little Mermaid is one of my favourite Disney films. It's a beautiful, imagnative, optimistic film, wonderful to see regardless of age, gender, race. One of my favourite scenes is where Ariel gave up her golden voice for a pair of legs; she sarcrificed so much for her lover and he doesn't even know it. I also love the scene when Ariel sang "Part of your world" in her collection cave. The lyrics are beautiful and it makes us think about how we should appreciate what we have.
