Disney did a big diservice to Mulan's fighting skills. She was suppose to kick
Shan Yu's butt from the first blow to the last. It is he who ends up running onto the
roof top to escape her!!!! Also she was suppose to be made captain of her battalion. |

| I first saw the trailer for Mulan in December last year.I was hooked on it the minute I saw the trailer materialise before my eyes.I must have rerun the trailer so many times on the computer that I can practically recite every line from it.Being a Singaporean with ancestors in China,I was worried that disney would make this an epic shame,but I must say I was glad with the way Mulan turned out.Can't imagine any other studio doing it!Now,I hope Disney will create animated features on other cultures as well.Just found out that Disney's animated feature for 1999 is Tarzan.Can hardly wait! |

The characters were so FUNNY!!I saw Mulan only once,but I am DYING to see it again.I can't wait till it comes out on video!!!!I'm going through a stage right now,that all I want to do is watch movies!!!!I rate Mulan 10,but if I could, I'd rate it 100!!! | Mulan was a wonderful, touching story that my Mom remembers hearing as a kid. It was Shorter than some of the other Disney movies but it was definitely the BEST Disney animated movie that I've ever seen. It included a lot of real Chinese values and though it was Westernized. (MUSHU), it was definitely worth the money. |
