| It is by far the best Disney film I have ever seen. When I first saw the previews I thought I would dislike the stereotypical portrayal of Chinese society, but I was proven worng. Even though I didn't like the overall sterotypical animation and depiction of custom, I loved the way Mulan risked it all for her family and not a man like every other Disney heroine. | |

| disney has taken a chinese legend and made a tasteful movie. as an asian-american, i was relieved at the absence of phony accents or excessive stereotypes. i really enjoyed the animation; there were some really beautiful scenes. if i have any thing bad to say about mulan, i'd say that it didn't have enough music scenes, and some of these scenes weren't fully developed; not as well as such scenes from beauty and the beast or aladdin. | |

| I think so far, it's the only movie that I've watched over 18 times since it's release on 25 of June and still can laugh so hard at it. But I would like to mention that in the original story, Mulan stayed undetected until 12 years later, when she returned from war as a hero. My credits goes to Mushu, Mulan, Yao, Li Shang and Granny Fa. The soundtrack is addicting, as my sis, my bro and I were singing it all day long. The funniest Disney Movie I would say. Denifately worth a watch! | |

| When I heard Disney 'Mulan', my first reaction was "Wow, Disney has picked up one of the best chinese legendary!". In fact, it really became one of Disney best feature too! Here are some story's background from history books I would like to share with Mulan viewers: 1. Who were Hun? Hun were nomads from North of acient China during the 200 B.C ~ 1300 A.D. Hun are brave, agressive horseback warriors and ruthless conquer who posed a major theat to many acient chinese dynasties. 2. Almost every emperor of chinese dynasty had to face two choise: 1)surround to Hun and sent princess from loyal family to marry Hun leader 2) or fight back Hun. The great battles between hun and chinese dynasty went on and on for centuries so Mulan's legendary came. 3. Hun were changing over times: From very begining, the momads called Xiunnu- the great Euro-Asia conqueror dominated north, after major defeat to the Imperial Army during the Han dynasty (800 A.D), majority of them moved to Europe. Afer that, Turkish warriors rose as a northen conqueror. In the absense of prevours nomads, during the 13th Century, a small tribe called Mongol rose and conquered the vast of Europe and Asia including whole China. As a former Inner-Mogolian horseman from China, My favorite figures are: Mulan's black loyal Khan, Hun leader Shan Yu, His hawk, Hun's horses. The best scenes: 1. Mulan leaving home for war during the stormy night, 2. Hun charge and Mulan fight back on the montain pass. | |

| As an animator myself, I must say Mulan is a fierce, superior piece of animation that will live in the history books. Every image is haunting, pierces the mind and captures the racing heart. The film will live within you long after you've left the theater. The most powerful scenes of the film (the Transformation and the Avalanche) will forever linger. Mulan is history; only Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and Pinocchio compare. | |

| Mulan is one of the best Walt Disney movies ever produced. Not only does it shed light on the grandeur of Chinese traditions, it also merges a Chinese flavor with the 'ho-hum' components of a regular Disney movie. The subtelty in the romance is especially notable and the music is magnificent. | |

| My rating is comparative to the other Disney animated films. I think it's by far the best Disney Animated flic since The Little Mermaid. The animation techniques are smooth and blend perfectly (as opposed to Aladdin's standard scenes and, say, the part where he escapes from the cave of wonders on the magic carpet). The music is excellent... the scores produced by Jerry Goldsmith are basically 80% of the movies' emotions. The only drawback was the Stevie Wonder song, while I thought it was okay, it was too much of a clash against the rest of the movie. All-In-All, the movie was great--funny, sad, funny, enjoyable, and fun. Whee! | |
