THE LEGEND OF MULAN MIGHT ACTUALLY BE REAL!!!
I was watching a video about China from the Time-Life Books series "Lost Civilizations" when a specific segment caught my attention.
The narrator stated that during the Shang Dynasty(1523-1027B.C.) there was a written account about a Shang king whose wife was his most brilliant general. She led his armies to victory in numerous wars against rival kingdoms and nomadic raiders. Could it be that the story surrounding their early lives may have formed the basis for the Legend of Mulan?

Great movie with family values -- respect, discipline and honor. Wonderful movie score. I am with Roger Ebert -- Thumbs Up! I would like to say to Gene Siskel: were you looking at Mulan or just dozed off??!! Eddie Murphy was fabulous and "not over the top"as you said...

Keep up the work of excellence, Disney! I cannot wait to add Mulan to my video collection.
