| The movie was wonderful. Being in the most hated profession is was so nice to have TOW-MATER show us in a good light.

| I took my 15 year old grandson to this movie yesterday. We are not NA$CAR fans, but rather follow the European sports car scene, so we didn't understand much of the NA$CAR references although I did recognize a couple of the names and the No. 8 Dale Earnhardt Jr. car because of all the commercials he has done.
Paul gave it a "so-so" rating as the movie was clearly made for much younger children and their Boomer parents/grandparents, but he did laugh at Luigi, who shares our POV regarding 'real' race cars being the likes of Ferrari, and we both thought Guido was a lot like Beaker (the sidekick of Bunsen Honeydew).
I enjoyed the look at Route 66 and the Fifties nostalgia of Radiator Springs, although the hippie VW microbus was out of period. (My Daddy had a Hudson Hornet and that character reminded me of Moonlight Graham in "Field of Dreams.") I recognized the motel with the traffic cones; we once stayed at the motel made up of concrete wigwams after which it was modelled. Daddy was a stock car driver on the old quarter mile dirt tracks and we covered a lot of the old blue Highways back in the Fifties. I enjoyed the 'trip down memory lane' and have recommended it to my Boomer friends who like NA$CAR.
As for the "message" at the end, both Paul and I agreed that racing is about winning and nice guys end up buried in the wall, and you never turn down a sponsor if you want to keep racing. |

| The graphics were absolutely stunning. The story line was multi-threaded including what has happened to rural America as a result of our freeway system. I loved the storyline..there was a bad guy...but not too bad..just a jerk. I loved the homespun humor..and the value system of the charachters. Just a "feel good" movie and one that should be seen on the big screen. Good job Disney. |

| We loved the movie. Thank you, Disney, for putting out a G movie with no vulgar humor and with a fantastic moral. Please make more like this. We have only taken our kids to 3 theatre movies(Piglet movie, Tigger movie, Cars) in their whole lives because most movies are just not acceptable to us. We rent the old Disney's in abundance but usually steer clear of the more recent Disney's. Thanks again, Disney, for making a good one. |

| Great movie. My wife and I saw it today and thought that of all the current Disney movies we hve seen this was the best. After the movie we searched for the cast to determine the characters voices. We were pleasently surprised as to who the characters were. We loved Mater and also Doc. We believe it is to mature for young children ( 2,3,4) because of the action and what is happening re: NASCAR, etc. However the movie is a strong, strong 10 for viewing pleasure.
